The Communications and Training department supports operational and project communication and training needs for departments across the IT Services unit and MSU IT. The Communications and Training department also includes the MSU Computer Store – Help and Repair.
Communications & Marketing
The Communications and Marketing team is responsible for the planning, development, and implementation of communications in support of IT Services. Communications and Marketing also plans new strategies and campaigns, oversees branding, coordinates events, facilitates organizational change management transitions, and manages digital and web communication efforts for MSU IT and the Office of the CIO.
The Training team offers non-credit instructional seminars, courses, and workshops for MSU students, faculty, and staff. Courses for the MSU community feature hands-on learning in topics ranging from computer basics to web development. The team also develops and supports training for applications designed and maintained by IT Services. Training for employees within IT Services is coordinated by the team with input from subject matter experts.
MSU Computer Store – Help and Repair
The MSU Computer Store – Help and Repair is university-owned and operated and offers technology consultation, sales, and technology assistance to MSU students, employees, and departments. The MSU Computer Store is in room 110 of the Computer Center.
