DESCRIPTION:Join us for a look at the 2015 AT&T Best Blended Course winner to hear about different instructional technology techniques and tools that were used. \nLocation: TBA \nDescription\nCourse TC 401: “Science Fiction\, Communication & Technology” examined how science fiction portrays the used of communication technologies. Themes from science fiction films and a novel were analyzed to relate them to our world and guide our own communication technology usage. This blended course used Zoom for conferencing\, Eli Review to facilitate peer review\, and MSU Google Docs for collaboration. \nSpeaker\nRobby Ratan\, Assistant Professor\, Department of Media and Information \nBackground\nThe AT&T Faculty-Staff Award Competition in Instructional Technology is an annual awards program run by MSU IT Services and funded by AT&T to recognize and encourage best practices in the use of technology to enhance teaching and learning \nThe Breakfast Conversations on Online Pedagogy series is hosted by IT Services Teaching and Learning Technology.
