IT Services develops, implements, and supports software for all centrally-supported university classrooms and computer labs. A variety of software applications for Macs and PCs are licensed for instructional use. Instructors can request specific software for computer labs and classrooms.
At this time, MSU does not recommend students rely on an Apple iPad, tablet device, or netbook as their primary computer due to software limitations.

use on campus, including many products that can be used by MSU
faculty, staff, and students. Some of the site licenses are perpetual and

IT Services central software licensing manages multiple license servers which control access to various software packages in use on campus.
