The Communications and Training department supports operational and project communication and training needs for departments across the Information Technology Services MAU. The Communications and Training department also includes the MSU Computer Store – Help and Repair.
Communications & Marketing
The Communications and Marketing team is responsible for the planning, development, and implementation of communications in support of IT Services. Communications and Marketing also plans new strategies and campaigns, oversees branding, coordinate events, and manages digital and web communication efforts for MSU IT and the Office of the CIO.
The Training team offers non-credit instructional seminars, computing courses, and workshops for MSU students, faculty and staff. Courses feature hands-on learning in topics ranging from computer basics to web development. The team also develops and supports campus application training for the MSU community.
MSU Computer Store – Help and Repair
The MSU Computer Store – Help and Repair is university-owned and operated and offers face-to-face technology consultation, sales, walk-in help, and computer repair services to MSU students, employees, and departments. The MSU Computer Store is in room 110 of the Computer Center and the Help and Repair area is in room 120 of the Computer Center.
