As of Fall 2021, there will be an option to turn on the New Content Experience (also called Lessons) for any course. The new experience can be enabled as an “opt-in/out” option, allowing educators to go back and forth between the two experiences and choose according to their preference. This will affect both how to build materials in a course and how learners view content. All other tools, such as Assignments, Quizzes, Discussions, and Grades remain the same when the New Content Experience is turned on. There are no future dates planned for when D2L will default to the new experience.
