MSU IT provides support to MSU faculty, staff, and administrators when media equipment and technical assistance is needed for regularly scheduled classes, computer lab classes, commencement, training sessions, or special events.
Call the MSU IT Service Desk at (517) 432-6200 or toll free (844) 678-6200 for help with classroom technology, classroom support, media equipment, printers, or unlocking computer lab rooms.
Staff are sent to assist on site with classroom calls during the main dispatch support hours. (Dispatch support outside these hours may be subject to additional costs.)
Satellite Offices are maintained at several locations across campus. Hours are 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Technical assistants are in constant communication with our main Classroom Support center, providing immediate response for instructors needing support in their classroom.
Training & Assistance
One-on-one training workshops are available to MSU faculty, teaching assistants, and graduate assistants throughout the academic year on technology classrooms and the use of technology. Departments and colleges are encouraged to seek assistance for special training. Most services directly related to instruction in the classroom for MSU faculty are available at no charge.
Classroom assistance is available prior to the start of class on a pre-arranged basis. Please allow at least 24-hour notice to schedule assistance. Technical assistants in satellite offices provide on-site support.
Equipment operators are available for classroom and non-classroom use. For regularly scheduled credit courses which meet in large classrooms with media-equipped projection booths, assistance is available at no charge.
