In this workshop, participants will be working on assessment strategies for their courses based on best practices. A strong focus will be given to assessment tools and gradebook functions of D2L. We will also use a template to create a simple rubric structure for any assignment. Upon completing this session, GTAs will be able to: 

1. Articulate the difference between summative and formative assessment.
