Lilly Seminar: Exploring the Creative & Innovative Instructional Makerspaces at MSU
Friday, Sep. 25 2015 @ 9:00 am - 11:30 am
Description
Makerspaces are gathering spaces for students and faculty to innovate, create, explore, and learn. This seminar will provide an overview of makerspaces, what these spaces are, how they integrate into teaching and learning, and how you can access them to support your instructional activities.
This seminar will also include panelists from different physical spaces around campus who will discuss what their spaces offer and how they can assist students, faculty, and staff. Attendees will be equipped to think more broadly about makerspaces, creative education at MSU, and how to incorporate these creative and innovative spaces into their own teaching and research.
Co-sponsored by MSU IT Services and Faculty and Organizational Development (F&OD).
