This workshop will discuss general considerations and specific strategies for promoting online discussions. We will showcase four different discussion platforms that are available at MSU: D2L Discussion Forums, Flipgrid, Packback, and Piazza. The goal of this workshop is to highlight approaches that can be used to enhance discussions while exploring the affordances and constraints for each of these tools.
