CASHNet at MSU
CASHNet at MSU is the university-supported application that accepts credit and debit card payments and adheres to Payment Card Industry Data Standards (PCI DSS). MSU e-commerce activities also use MSUPayment to ensure transaction-related data is available and secure to departments.
CASHNet is used by over two hundred units on campus to collect tuition payments, conference registrations, invoice payments, and more. It is the ONLY pre-approved e-commerce solution that MSU units may use.
No contract or agreement for payment acceptance may be entered into unless the contract is approved by the Cashier’s Office. Units that engage outside organizations to collect payments on MSU’s behalf risk having their operation suspended.
MSU and each merchant are still responsible for complying with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).
