The MSU Web Development Community for Advising, Facilitating, and Enabling (MSU WebDev CAFE) serves the community of MSU web professionals by facilitating discussion and information sharing, convening meetings and events, and offering feedback on policies and large-scale applications.
Purpose
The purpose of the WebDev CAFE is to engage staff at Michigan State University by:
- Foster a sense of community
- Build trust among the IT community
- Challenge IT to think broadly
- Share best practices
- Keep up with new technology
- Encourage collaboration
Meetings
The group meets on a regular basis throughout the year and is open to anyone interested in supporting the significant role web technology plays at MSU.
Management
The WebDev CAFE, like other MSU CAFEs, is run and managed by volunteers.

Leaders are chosen annually in March according to bylaws and begin their terms in April.
