The IT Services department Application Services provides application development and support services for administrative systems operated jointly with MSU functional units (i.e., the Controller’s Office, Human Resources, University Advancement, the Registrar’s Office, the Cashier’s Office). These services include disaster recovery and contingency planning, portfolio and project management, systems architecture and testing, and business system analysis.
Application Services also offers design, development, and support for web applications, mainframe systems, databases, middleware applications, and e-commerce systems, as well as identity and integration management.

The Solution Engineer team reviews technology-focused tools and processes to ensure that MSU’s technology needs are fulfilled.
The Product Administration team investigates, selects, and drives the development of technology products for MSU.
