Brown Bag: Technology Landscape: The Technologies MSU Faculty Use to Teach

Friday, Feb. 17 2017 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Speakers

Jessica Knott and Ryan Yang, IT Services

This fall, the Hub for Innovation in Learning and Technology (hub.msu.edu) had its Technology Working Group send out a survey to instructors on campus, with the goal of identifying what technology tools they use for teaching. The survey also explored instructors’ information and support needs. In this brown bag session, Jess and Ryan will share survey data and findings, and facilitate a discussion intended to further the conversation.

This session will be of interest to all who want to know what common (and uncommon) teaching technologies are used by MSU faculty.  This session will also be of interest to anyone who wants to better understand the instructional technologies in use and to get ideas of how to bring additional innovations to their classes.

Everyone is invited to attend.

Background

The Explorations in Instructional Technology Brown Bag series is hosted by the MSU College of Education, College of Natural Science, and MSU IT Academic Technology. For more information, contact Sev Grabski. Learn more about other faculty development opportunities.
