New MSU Tech Store shopping experience

The MSU Tech Store is launching a new online and in-store shopping experience, making it easier for students, faculty, and staff to get their hands on the technology necessary for their Spartan journey.

The East Lansing on-campus MSU Tech Store located at the Computer Center building will be closed Monday, Oct. 23 and Tuesday, Oct. 24 to prepare for the launch. The online store at techstore.msu.edu will not be affected during this time and still accept orders. The store will reopen on Wednesday, Oct. 25 with the launch of the new in-store point-of-sale system and updated e-commerce website.

The modern and mobile-optimized techstore.msu.edu will include enhanced searchability, more intuitive navigation, and a more modern look and feel. Online shoppers will easily find the computers, software, and accessories they need within the site’s online catalogs. The checkout experience will be enhanced by allowing users to setup new accounts with their MSU email address to place orders and view the status of orders placed online. Other improvements, including new field for additional information, such as an end users name, for purchases made by departments have also been incorporated.

Visit techstore.msu.edu to shop online for computers, tablets, software, accessories, and more, or stop into the MSU Tech Store on campus, located on the first floor of the Computer Center, 450 Auditorium Rd., Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
