MSU APP (October Update)
The latest update of the MSU App is now available for download from the Apple and Google Play stores. This update adds CATA bus information to the Maps section of the app, under the new Bus Routes tab. Features of the Bus Routes tab include:
- Clicking on a bus route will show the route on the map.

The official MSU App is now live on the Apple and Google Play stores!
Originally conceptualized as a capstone project by MSU students and developed in partnership with RHS, CABS, and ASMSU, the app is designed to be continually grown through suggestions by the Spartan community.
Currently, the MSU App allows users to:
- read the latest MSU news
- see upcoming events
- find residence hall dining options
- view a campus map

Award-Winning MSU Technology Instructors
Six outstanding instructors for online and blended courses were selected as recipients of the 2016–2018 MSU AT&T Faculty-Staff Awards in Instructional Technology.

In the past 4 years, Information Technology at MSU has evolved from a commodity IT based organization into a structure positioned to strengthen core IT assets, trusted to align with unit and college requirements, and innovate in the delivery of effective technology solutions. The MSU Data Center, accelerated Wi-Fi in residence halls, and co-development of an on-campus navigation and informational app with Computer Science and Engineering students are recent examples of partnerships that deliver results for researchers, faculty, staff, and students. Kaltura MediaSpace adds new video editing tools to MSU application
Kaltura MediaSpace added Video Editing Tools on January 14 that replace the previous Clipping, Trimming, and Quiz Creation functionalities in MSU MediaSpace.
The same basic functionality still exists within MediaSpace. However, the new tools provide an accessible, unified, and streamlined experience within your web browser when editing videos in MediaSpace. Read Full Article →
MSU IT to upgrade D2L to Daylight Version on May 11
MSU IT will be upgrading D2L to a new user interface called Daylight on May 11, 2018.
The new interface will bring increased smartphone usability and a modern visual design to D2L.D2L Daylight Differences
