MSU Printer Consolidation
MSU Print is consolidating its efforts to provide a more efficient, affordable, and effective printing service to the campus community. This effort will strategically provide printers in places of historically high traffic and use on campus. Additionally, several old printer models will be retired in favor of newer and environmentally friendly models, which are faster and have more features. See below for the list of printing locations.
When will the consolidation take place?
- The consolidation period will run from Monday, April 29 through Wednesday, July 31.
What is happening?
- A two-pronged effort will take place to keep prices low and affordable while still offering a sustainable campus-wide print solution to meet the needs of students, faculty, and staff.

- Reduce the number of printers on campus, consolidating the service to high-traffic and high-use locations.
- Rates will increase to $.12 per 8.5 x 11 page for b&w and $.36 for color, and $.72 per 11 x 17 page for color.
- This combined effort will bring about a sustainable solution, one that will grow with the campus for years to come.
- The method by which members of the MSU Community pay for and use MSU Print will not change.
