MSU Executive Vice President for Administration and Chief Information Officer Melissa Woo joined colleagues from major research universities recently as part of a panel discussion on Higher Ed’s Digital Future hosted by The Chronicle of Higher Education. Communication is vital to any successful collaboration. On MSU’s campus, students, faculty, and staff often utilize Microsoft 365 (known at MSU as Spartan365) applications to drive communication and collaboration in their daily endeavors.

The MSU Tech Store wants to ensure every Spartan starts the new academic year on the right foot. To help students get a jump on the fall semester, the Tech Store will hold special weekend hours from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, August 27, and Sunday, August 28.

MSU EVPA and CIO Melissa Woo joined MSU President Samuel L. Stanley, representatives from the Merit Network and state and federal officials Monday, June 27 to celebrate the kickoff of the Michigan Open Optical Network – Leveraging Innovation to Get High-Speed Technology (MOON-Light) project. Funded by a $10.5 million federal Broadband Infrastructure Program grant through the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA), MOON-Light reinforces MSU’s mission to create an equitable pathway for learning.
