Getting Connected at MSU
Guest Wi-Fi
MSU guests and visitors can connect to MSUNet Guest Wireless without needing an MSU NetID or register their devices. Select MSUnet Guest und0er your device’s wireless connection options. You’ll also need to agree to abide by the MSU Acceptable Use Policy for Information Technology Resources.

Guest Account
MSU Guest Account (formerly Community ID) grants limited access to web-based MSU services for users not affiliated with MSU directly. Users typically include members of the general public who sign up for non-credit courses, distance learners, and parents, guardians, and others invited by a student to access their information (such as MSU financial systems).

Classrooms or Computer Labs for Events
Individuals or groups without an MSU NetID or events other than an MSU course must submit a Computer Use & Printing for Events Request Form. Read more on scheduling a computer lab or classroom.

These requests must be made at least two weeks prior to the requested date of use. It is to your advantage to request the dates as early as possible. All requests are subject to availability.
If you need to make changes or cancel a previously scheduled reservation, please contact the Registrar’s Office at (517) 355-4521 for MSU courses or the MSU IT Service Desk at (517) 432-6200/toll free (844) 678-6200 for events.
Equipment Rental
