All university technology classrooms and computer labs using PCs will be updated to Windows 7 and Office 2013 over the summer for the fall 2013 semester.
This update will not substantially change the user experience in the labs, but older software will be affected. IT Services encourages instructors to test their software in advance.
Software test locations
Windows 7 and Office 2013 test locations are currently available on the second floor of the Main Library. Additional testing locations will become available during the summer.
Testing locations provide an opportunity for instructors and IT staff to familiarize themselves with the changes and test any software before the fall 2013 semester. Testing will run through July 2013.
If you use an older version of software for a class, please fill out the online form to ensure your software will work with Windows 7 or to receive assistance in finding a suitable replacement.
