MSU plans final shutdown of ANGEL on January 29

MSU IT has moved up the planned final shutdown of ANGEL to Friday, January 29, to ensure data security on this legacy system. ANGEL course and group administrators have been contacted regarding this change. The system will be permanently decommissioned at that time.

Course graded activities and grading data will still be able to be retrieved in the case of grade disputes by making a request to the MSU IT Service Desk.

What do I need to do?

  1. Save any remaining course, dev course, or group content from the ANGEL system that you still want before January 29.
  2. Update any links you may have to ANGEL content, as they will break after 5:00 p.m. on January 29.
  3. Migrate course content to the D2L Learning Management System if you want to teach from it in the future.

If you have questions or need assistance with ANGEL, contact the IT Service Desk at (517) 432-6200 or toll free at (844) 678-6200.
