Michigan State University is proud to have educators that continue to create effective and thoughtful ways to support student learning by including technology in their practices. In recognition of those individuals MSU IT’s Educational Technology Department is excited to announce the return of the AT&T Excellence in Teaching with Technology Awards.
Anyone teaching an in-credit course is eligible for the awards. These awards are given to instructors who use technology to enhance their teaching with an impactful, accessible, and engaging practice.
In the past, the AT&T awards focused on entire courses, but this year the criteria for the award have been revised to focus on the specific practice of using technology effectively. There will be three awards given, and recipients of the award will receive a $2,000 stipend that can be used to purchase technology enhancements for their course or for professional development.
Applications can be submitted starting Sept. 1 through Oct. 28. For application details and past winners, visit https://attawards.msu.edu. Questions about the competition can be emailed to Nick Noel at lepeschk@msu.edu.
