Old ANGEL courses and groups to be removed May 9
Starting on May 9, 2014, courses that are two years old, development courses that have been inactive for two years, and groups that have been inactive for six months in MSU’s ANGEL system will be deleted.
Associated content and records for these courses will also be deleted.

Microsoft to retire Windows XP system on April 8
Microsoft will end support for its Windows XP operating system on April 8, 2014. No further security updates or technical support will be provided for Windows XP.
Computers still running the XP operating system aren’t protected against malware and other security vulnerabilities after April 8.

MSU email, AFS to expire April 25 for past employees
MSU IT Services will be deactivating mail.msu.edu email and AFS storage accounts for those who have not been faculty, staff, or affiliates for one or more years.
Official retirees are not included in these account expirations. They maintain their MSU email and AFS accounts.

MSU FileDepot, FileDepot Internal provide alternatives for sharing data
IT Services launched two related file sharing services to transfer files up to 900MB inside and outside of Michigan State University.
These services help address the need for sharing large files and data with colleagues at MSU or other institutions.

IT Services tests staplers at printers in three campus locations
MSU IT Services is testing staplers near the Netprint printers in 143 Brody, Owen Hall (pictured), and 337 S. Case.
Staplers are installed on chains and include a box of staples for refills as needed. The Brody location is also testing a hole punch.
