MSU Educational Technology Summit showcases leading technology tools

Join us for the 2024 MSU Educational Technology Summit Monday, June 3 through Thursday  June 6.

This four-day event highlights the technologies that enhance teaching and learning and promote student success. In addition to demos from partner vendors, MSU educators and support staff will present and discuss the use of educational technology available at MSU.

This year, there are two hybrid sessions offered both via Zoom and on the MSU campus. Hybrid session locations are noted in the schedule. All other sessions will be virtual via Zoom. June 5th will offer a spotlight on accessibility, with sessions on removing barriers to learning, Expanding Access to Learning with the MSU OER Initiative, and a student panel.

Presentations will cover a variety of topics including:

  • Leveraging AI
  • Classroom technology
  • Record and share lectures easily
  • Streamline content delivery
  • Develop better feedback strategies
  • Effectively use D2L
  • Utilize interactive classroom response systems
  • Scale online discussion among students
  • Boost engagement in any modality
  • Accessibility

Sessions will take place each day in the morning and afternoon. Attend and engage in as many sessions as you wish. Participating vendors scheduled to present include Zoom, Camtasia, Packback, Piazza, Texthelp, iClicker, and more.

Hosted by MSU IT’s Educational Technology department, the MSU Educational Technology Summit is open to the MSU community for the purposes of increasing awareness of supported educational technologies, promoting IT services available to our MSU communities, and sharing useful strategies for using these technologies.
