MSU Adobe Connect to be retired on August 1

On August 1, 2015, the MSU Adobe Connect system will be retired, in part due to the success of the MSU Zoom conferencing service that first launched in January 2014.

MSU IT Services will be expanding Zoom licensing starting on May 13.

What to do before August 1

Please download and save any data you have stored in Adobe Connect before August 1. Any data left on the system after August 1 will be deleted. (MSU Kaltura MediaSpace is an option for video and multimedia storage.)

If MSU business was conducted or content was created in Adobe Connect Groups that may be of historical value to the university, it may be eligible for transfer to University Archives and Historical Collections (UAHC). This content could include meeting recordings, presentations, PDF files, and course materials. Business records may have specific retention schedules in compliance with laws and regulations.
