This summer, MSU IT’s Education Technology department is bringing together faculty and staff to learn about the latest in classroom technology. The inaugural MSU Educational Technology Summit will take place virtually July 25 – 29 and feature the most widely used educational technology solutions on campus.
In addition to hearing from technology vendors, attendees will hear firsthand accounts of how technology impacts the teaching and learning experience in MSU classrooms.
MSU IT is putting together a full lineup of faculty and staff to share with peers how they effectively utilize educational technology in their courses. Attend the MSU Educational Technology Summit to join the conversations and learn how technology may enhance your campus experience.
Vendor presentations will cover technology used to:
- Record and share lectures easily
- Grade several different assessment types online
- Streamline content delivery
- Promote critical thinking and better writing through feedback and revision
- Create and edit assignments in D2L
- Utilize interactive classroom response systems
- Scale online discussion among students
Visit the D2L learning community to enroll and select which Zoom sessions you plan to attend each day. Additional faculty presentations are regularly being added to the event agenda, so continue checking back leading up to the event.
