Digital Tool Training Sessions
The MSU IT Training team is offering live training sessions at no cost to students, faculty, and staff. These training sessions are designed to help new users successfully utilize critical digital applications like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, OneNote, and OneDrive.

D2L Subscription Training
We’re happy to announce that D2L Subscription Training is now available at no cost to all MSU staff and faculty and will be available through May 31, 2020.
D2L is MSU’s learning management system that allows instructors to utilize online and blended classroom learning in their curriculum. Through D2L, instructors can upload the course syllabus, send email and announcements, receive homework submissions, facilitate discussions, maintain a gradebook, and use other tools that will make communication, assessment, and grading easier. iClicker Workshop
Join us for a workshop discussing ways to use the student response system iClicker Reef. With this solution, students may use their own devices (e.g., phone, tablet, laptop) instead of a physical clicker. This interactive demonstration will show the features and functionality of iClicker Reef and Reef Quizzing alongside physical iClicker remotes to show how both could be used in the same classroom. D2L self-directed training updated for instructors and students
The D2L Brightspace online training courses have recently been updated. All training videos and links to documentation now reflect D2L Version 10.5 materials. (Learn more about What’s New in D2L 10.5).

MSU to launch new Desire2Learn features for fall 2014
MSU IT Services is upgrading the Desire2Learn (D2L) Learning Management System to version 10.3 over the summer. In addition, to the upgrade several new integrations will be available.
This upgrade will offer many new features including:
- The ability to upload, publish and share media directly from the D2L environment using the Kaltura MediaSpace integration.
MSU Seminars in Research and Instructional Technology to be held May 7-8
IT Services will offer two days of no-cost workshops on research and instructional technology on May 7 and 8, 2013. These seminars are also open to graduate assistants.
The workshops are designed to support faculty, academic staff, and graduate assistants in their teaching and research roles by providing seminars led by experts in online learning, and instruction in the use of a variety of software tools. Read Full Article →

IT Services Technology Training launched a new website to showcase its training opportunities to the MSU community. This new site includes broader training information, search functionality, and an updated design.
