Cloud services coming soon

University agreements for cloud services with Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure are underway. These cloud services offer exceptional compute power, database storage, content delivery features, and other functionality to fill a range of needs including servers, long-term data storage, mobile application development, and storing and analyzing large volumes of data. MSU D2L integrates Awards tool for issuing badges in courses

MSU IT integrated the Awards tool into MSU D2L enabling instructors to issue badges and certificates recognizing student achievements and encouraging engagement.

Badges and certificates can be issued manually or based on release conditions to reward students and introduce an element of gamification to courses (e.g., obtaining a high score, submitting a discussion post, helping classmates). Read Full Article →
