Digital Tool Training Sessions
The MSU IT Training team is offering live training sessions at no cost to students, faculty, and staff. These training sessions are designed to help new users successfully utilize critical digital applications like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, OneNote, and OneDrive.

Zoom Webinar Workshop
You may be familiar with Zoom Meetings as a video conference software, but the university just expanded its license to include Zoom Webinar licenses for all faculty, staff, and student accounts (community IDs not included). MSU Zoom conferencing adds new features
MSU Zoom recently adding the new polling and simultaneous meeting features for the MSU community.
Zoom is a cloud-based platform for video and audio conferencing, mobile collaboration, and simple online meetings.
Pro account access (50 participants) is available at no charge for MSU faculty, staff, and students when you log into MSU Zoom using your NetID and password. Read Full Article →
MSU finalizes campus license agreements on select software
MSU and IT Services have finalized and expanded some recent campus licensing agreements for:
- CampusAD (IT staff/departments)
- Campus Exchange (IT staff/departments)
- Kaltura MediaSpace video storage (students, faculty, staff)
- Microsoft Enrollment for Education licenses (IT staff/departments, students, faculty, staff)
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux license (IT staff/departments)
- Zoom web conferencing (students, faculty, staff)
IT Services now centrally funds and manages a Microsoft Windows 2008 Active Directory infrastructure for units on campus. Read Full Article →
Zoom Pro license available to MSU students, faculty, staff on May 13
MSU IT Services will be expanding its Zoom licensing agreement due to the success of the tool that first launched at MSU in January 2014.
Zoom Pro licenses for web conferencing will be available to MSU students, faculty, and staff beginning on May 13. (Previously only Basic licenses were centrally supported.) Read Full Article →
MSU Adobe Connect to be retired on August 1
On August 1, 2015, the MSU Adobe Connect system will be retired, in part due to the success of the MSU Zoom conferencing service that first launched in January 2014.
MSU IT Services will be expanding Zoom licensing starting on May 13.
