MSU IT’s Top 15 ProjectsBarb Dawson, Assistant Vice President of IT Strategy, reported on the “Top 15” technology projects as reported by the MSU IT Project Management Office. She explained that several criteria are used to classify a project as “Top 15” including if the project is high profile for MSU, if the project is funded, and if it is an innovation project and/or it supports the MSU Bolder IT vision to Strengthen, Align, and Innovate. MSU Interactive Maps launched a new wayfinding feature, department search, and a redesign to the interface and toolbar.
Wayfinding is common on online maps and provides detailed information to guide people through a physical environment.
Use the MSU Wayfinding beta to find:
- Walking directions on campus.
- Time and distance estimates.
- Routes around construction areas.
The D2L Brightspace online training courses have recently been updated. All training videos and links to documentation now reflect D2L Version 10.5 materials. (Learn more about What’s New in D2L 10.5).
